Right, I was shocked the same as you. When it was announced at first that GTA V gets three main characters instead of one, most of the players doubted how it’s going to work because back in the days Rockstar could barely handle just one hero. Personally, my doubts have disappeared from the first minutes of playing the game. It’s amazing how three entirely different characters can not just co-exist but even complement each other.So your protagonists are Franklin, Michael and Trevor. Franklin is a young black guy who is an excellent driver, faithful to his band, doesn’t like to risk, but for the sake of friends is ready for anything. He steals cars from time to time and dreams of getting on a serious deal one day. Franklin doesn’t seem to have lots of opportunities to move up in the world until he meets our next character - Michael.Michael, unlike other heroes, has a beautiful life of a former criminal: respect and recognition, a mansion in Vinewood, a full garage of super cars as well as a broken marriage with his dissatisfied wife, tough relations with a daughter who spends all the time with porn moguls and a post puberty boy who only does that smokes weed all days and nights and plays something similar to Call of Duty.
So no wonder why Michael spends more time with Franklin than his children and gives Franklin a chance to check out the life of big-time crime by himself.We have one more character - a methamphetamine dealer Trevor, who lives in a desert town north of Los Santos and appears to be Michael’s companion and business partner. Trevor is a character that you will never forget, even if you try hard. He is truly horrible and terrifying person. Lives in a dirty trailer, makes methamphetamine, screams swear words, spontaneously beats people and kills bikers. Trevor is absolutely uncontrollable, impudent, arrogant and socially dangerous. So other two protagonists seem to be nice enough people by comparing them to Trevor.As you likely noticed, Michael, Trevor and Franklin work together but don’t always get along. Therefore, to complete some missions in GTA V, you will have to hire additional members to your crew.
There will be a need sometimes for jobs like hacker, driver, gunman and others. If you look for skilled crew members, they will typically cost you more. However, if you hire cheap and inexperienced ones, then you’ll likely end up your missions because of their tasks fails. Don’t forget to get all the necessary equipment aforehand, find the perfect places to hide your getaway car for example, and check other things before you’ll ready to start the job.Also, you can switch any of your three protagonists even if you’re not on missions.
Doing so, you’ll gradually get out from one character’s location and view another’s. Be ready that you never know what the character you’re swapping to might be doing at this particular moment. Sometimes you can find them in relatively crappy situations, so I warned you.If we look at the game in overall, it might seem like each character has his own life and is dedicated to certain missions. Those twitchy controls that we used in the third-person mode for outrageous driving stunts are just too sensitive in first-person, and you have to work hard to keep the car on the road especially when a dozen of mad policemen are chasing you.
Thankfully, you can choose to drive in third-person and have the game automatically switch you back to first-person whenever you get on-foot. This feature might be extremely helpful if you can’t complete a particular mission.But even if you’re not an excellent driver you’ll still enjoy riding all of those beautiful vehicles because they have wonderfully detailed and impressive interiors.

However, with the creation of modder Lingon’s trainer, those time limits are no longer a problem. It binds various cheats to the number pad, allowing you to turn them on at will.Want to go without reloading? Need infinite health and stamina?
Want a bottomless bank account? Touch a few buttons, and you can have all the money you can spend. Sure this breaks any semblance of realism GTA V ever had clean in half, but I daresay it will fill a niche in the GTA community. Lingon’s Superhero ModSpeaking of Lingon, this is an addendum to the trainer above, which I feel merits its own entry.
You can download it as part of the same bundle, though. Everyone wants to be a superhero, so it’s not really a surprise that one of the first mods to show up in the GTA V community is a mod which basically gives Michael, Franklin, and Trevor superpowers.This mod gives you super speed and super strength, allowing you to punch people so hard they fly into the lower atmosphere and race to catch them wherever they fall. It still pales in comparison to the superpowers in, but the mod is still young. Unlimited SnowThis mod might not sound like much. As mentioned, there’s already a mod for changing the weather in real-time. What good does it do to have everything in Los Santos blanketed in snow? It doesn’t sound like much.
Until you see it in action. Look at that pristine snowscape! Unfortunately, this mod is the only one on this this list that Rockstar has put out of commission, albeit inadvertently. According to, it has been broken by the most recent PC patch, so it’s not available at the time of this writing. However, they may rerelease it soon. Field of View ModAs mods go, this one fulfills a very basic need.
The field-of-view slider in the PC version of GTA V has been criticized by some gamers for being too limited, and even when maxed out it is still arbitrarily narrow. This can be a problem for gamers with motion sickness who cannot find a comfortable point in the vanilla FoV range. This mod frees them from this restriction, allowing the player to expand their FoV by a good twenty percent, by my estimate. This mod, can also be helpful for players not susceptible to FoV vertigo. Guns in GTA V’s first-person mode take up a huge portion of the screen, especially while you’re aiming. The FoV mod helps you to see a little beyond whatever iron sights you happen to be packing.
