Might as well make yourself into a living tank with Power Armor.First off, since this is a character build with multiple options, you should have points scattered across several stats. If you want to craft the best Power Armor though, you'll need points in Strength and Intelligence. This is definitely the most tricky crafting option, as you are required to have three perks.From here, you'll definitely want to focus first on the Science!
This will unlock access to many early Power Armor mods. There are four levels to Science!, so make sure you keep adding points to the perk when they become available.
Keep leveling up and adding to your skills until you have a high enough Strength to get the Armorer and Blacksmith perks. You'll also need all four ranks in Armorer and all three ranks in Blacksmith to unlock all of the best Power Armor mods and upgrades.Between Armorer and Blacksmith, you should probably focus more on Armoroer. For one, there are four ranks in it instead of the three in Blacksmith. For two, Armorer seems to be more of a requirement than Blacksmith when it comes to crafting the better upgrades. Item TipsNow that your character is all ready to craft, make sure you have the right components and supplies. Along with a base Power Armor suit such as the one given to you by the Minutemen near the start of Fallout 4, you'll also need the individual pieces of Power Armor, like the leg pieces or the helmet, to modify. You'll also need other supplies like adhesives, aluminum, and screws. The metal and gears and things are all pretty easy to come across in various toys, buckets, and other things like that. The real trick is getting enough adhesives.ADHESIVES CRAFTING TUTORIALIf you can't find enough Wonderglue or Duct tape around the Wasteland, you can still craft adhesives.
First, get plenty of Tatos, Corn, and Mutfruit. From there, stock up on as much purified water as you can find. If you can't find any, you can cook three dirty waters to make one purified water.Once you have Tatos, Corn, Mutfruit and Purified Water, go to a cooking station and make Vegetable Starch. This will give you a whopping 5 adhesives to craft with.From there, just follow the spreadsheet below.
