SIDHi,I wasted my sleep for the last 2 days thinking about the resolution posted on this forum, as I myself went through the same problem – and ultimately couple of mins back I just resolved it – I dont know whether the setps mentioned above resolves an issue because even Microsoft KB mentions the same. I followed a diff path – My pen drive was getting detected in device manager, I also tried out un installing the Root Hub.nogo, so I planned to replace my user profile. I copied all my contents and replaced my user profile. & u wont believe it took 12 mins to get this issue fixed.

I then went to MMC and Turn on the Auto Play option. Now even all my usb are getting recognized.
