Hi,I have just upgraded my Office to 2019 (from 2016) on my iMac 27' (Late 2015). I run macOS Mojave.I use multiple desktops - and normally I have Outlook running on the first desktop.

When it's open and I 'slide' from the second desktop to the one with Outlook it lags a lot. I have no problems 'sliding' between other desktops. When I use Outlook for simple tasks - like creating a new email - it's slow (most of my typing has a delay).I thought it might have to do with the upgrade - so I made a complet new installation of Mojave and everything seemed to be great.just until I installed Office 2019. The same problems showed up again.Might be a graphical problem in Office.

Outlook 2019 won

Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance!Best regardsHenrik. Hi Carlos, thanks for your reply.I have already tried with only one test-account (with only a few messages). That did not help. And it's not a sorting problem.I have always error logging disabled - so that's not the case here.As I write in my post - it seems more like a graphical problem.

I have tried installing the 2016 version again - and then there is no problems at all. So I'm quite sure it's related to the 2019-version.I will try the in-app support if nothing useful comes up here within a couple of days. Thanks again./hp. Outlook 2016 Slow To Open Processing

This only happens in Outlook. No other Office products are affected as far as I can tell.My current system is better than most as I am running multiple PCI-E SSD's for my hard drives, I have 32G RAM, and an i7 8700K CPU.If you click on anything in Outlook there are huge delays, it switches to 'Not Responding' for about 15 seconds, and then finally works.I haven't found any solution so far, including starting in safe mode or anything else. Hopefully, sometime soon, someone smarter than I switches to 2019 and comes and tells us how to fix it. At my company, we just bought Office 2019 to replace our 2010 licenses. Several of us in the IT department have already upgraded to 2019, and this same problem is absolutely noticeable to us. When I switch between Inbox, Sent Items, Deleted Items, andchild folders under Inbox: all laggy, sometimes several seconds long. Typing when trying to compose a new message is lagging.

Switching between Mail and Calendar is very laggy. It is very annoying.

I am with you Henrik, it seems to be a graphical issue relatedto the animation transitions they have implemented. They are not fluid at all. If this is annoying to us in IT, I can only imagine how annoyed our users will be when we upgrade them.
